On this gorgeous day in May, Team KWE was delighted to work at the Crocker Art Museum for this beautiful event!  Tova and Don were such a joy to work with on their special day.  Being a Jewish couple and wanting a traditional ceremony that honored their heritage, it was truly important to this couple that their celebration was meaningful for everyone involved.

 

When asked for five words they would use to describe the vision of their day, Tova and Don responded with “modern, comfortable, inviting, bright and joyous”.  I truly think this is a great description for their fantastic wedding day! Guests enjoyed an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception at the Crocker Art Museum – the best of both worlds!  The ceremony was complete with readings by friends and family, a blessing over wine, and of course, a breaking of glass. Mazel Tov! It was a beautiful ceremony that captivated the attention of everyone present.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed an amazing cocktail hour, complete with passed appetizers and light jazz music from a guitar and sax duo.  Before dinner, guests engaged in the passing of Challah, another traditional Jewish custom.  Tova and Don were then introduced as newlyweds to their guests and the party really began, starting with the Hora!  An elegant – and might we add, delicious – plated dinner was served, complete with tasty desserts and table side wine service!

Tova and her father shared a special moment in their father-daughter dance to the song “In My Life” by The Beatles.  This truly was quite the celebration and the KWE Team was so honored to be apart of it!  This couple shares a timeless love that can be seen just by looking at them!  We wish you many years of love and happiness in your marriage.  Congratulations Tova and Don!
