The beauty of the Sandra and Hendrick wedding was inspired from “Alice in Wonderland”. The theme was subtle yet whimsical, with purples, pinks, and hints of black accenting all details from ceremony to tabletops. The bride wore an incredible blush ombre Vera Wang tulle gown that was absolutely stunning on her. The dessert display left nothing to the imagination – it was complete with chocolate mousse, macaroons, cupcakes, and an amazing pink & purple ombre cake. Plenty of options for all guests to enjoy! Of course, with a professional DJ in the house, we had to have fabulous uplighting and fun light-up cubes for the dance floor – everyone had a great time dancing until the end.
Moss props were definitely one of the staple accents for this wedding. The flower girl held a moss shaped teapot, while the ring bearer held a top hat made of moss. Escort cards were accented with moss pieces and the desserts were held on moss-covered risers. The gorgeous flowers were beautifully displayed in both short and tall arrangements, and were always accented with touches of moss. The Alice in Wonderland theme was very carefully edited and well-executed to avoid being cheesy or over-the-top. The black and white striped chargers and the teacup favors translated the whimsical tea party design, but didn’t overpower the elegance of the lush floral arrangements. Charleton Churchill Photography did an amazing job with capturing the essence of the celebration. Here at KWE, we were so honored to have been apart of Sandra and Hendrick’s special day! We wish you both happiness & love in your marriage. Congratulations!
