“Easy-going, classy and fun” were three words that Buu and Brian wanted their wedding day to be like. Well judging by these beautiful pictures, it’s safe to say they got exactly what they wanted! In every image you can see the love that both Buu and Brian have for each other. Brian comes from a Mid-West family, and he met Buu when she did a background check on him before becoming a part of the Big Brother-Big Sister Organization. Buu must have liked what she found because these two quickly became an item!
The Proposal: Brian, one of the sweetest men, planned to propose one week in February; however, Buu would be out of town. He had to quickly re-group and envision another strategy! Brian knew Buu would get suspicious if he planned a trip or took her to a fancy restaurant, so he thought of the perfect surprise proposal. He hid the ring in her gym bag she brings with them while they trained for a 5K. Brian asked her to look in her bag for the keys and, upon the first search, Buu didn’t find the ring. Again, he had to think quick! Brian asked her to look again and finally, she found Brian’s family heirloom diamond sparkler!
The ceremony and reception were held on the remarkable Citizen Hotel 7th Floor Metropolitan Terrace looking over the city. Mason jars filled with blue hydrangeas decorated the reception, as well as tall centerpieces and blue uplights to complete the look. Guests were delightfully entertained by dragon dancers to celebrate Buu’s rich Chinese culture. Hints of navy blue, a color worn by the wedding party, were also seen in the cake and stationery, accented by splashes of champagne and silver. This couple was truly amazing to work with. We wish you many years of happiness and love in your marriage Buu and Brian! Congratulations!
