Anna and Alex met as interns at a Sacramento hospital and instantly clicked. In their free time, the two enjoy skiing, hiking, cooking, and traveling together. It was only natural that their wedding held a bit of adventure for their guests as well!
When we asked them how they envisioned their wedding day, Anna and Alex spoke to us about creating a warm and cozy atmosphere that was simple, elegant and fun. Anna had a vision of using bright fall colors, like oranges and reds, and contrasting them with natural elements, like raw metals and wood. Being outdoorsy in spirit, it was only natural that Anna and Alex were drawn to The Hideout in Kirkwood.
Guests arrived in the early afternoon and headed towards the lawn for a stunning outdoor ceremony. Attendees could grab themselves a glass of iced tea or cucumber water while they waited. After a truly intimate and sweet ceremony, guests headed to the cocktail hour for eating, drinking and dancing.
During the cocktail hour, guests were treated to a tasty chips and salsa bar, signature cocktails created by Anna and Alex themselves, and delicious beer in their own personalized beer glass. Guest tables were adorned with cream linens, gorgeous floral arrangements in tin cans, and place settings with metal chargers and cranberry napkins. During the reception, Anna and Alex treated their guests to an exciting performance – they choreographed their own line dance routine! From here, Anna and Alex spent the remainder of their special day surrounded by their closest family and friends, celebrating the happiest day of their lives! We absolutely loved getting to know this amazing couple and we wish them many years of love and happiness in their marriage. Congratulations, Anna and Alex!

Beautiful wedding! Thanks for sharing! 🙂
Thank you Adriana!
So lovely. Love all the details and love that they are using the metal cups! Did you help your couple to find their location or did they already have the Hideout booked?
Thank you! I believe they found both The HideOut and Team KWE from our previous blog features.
