An Alchemy Exclusive! The Bride envisioned a whimsical, laid back yet classic wedding with touches of vintage – while the Groom had one request for the Groomsmen attire: seersucker! This union, five years in the making, had touches of Southern charm with unexpected surprises. The couple wanted certain elements to set their wedding a part from the rest.
They started with a clear top tent to showcase a stunning panoramic view of the Groom’s family estate. Personal touches such as guests being ‘sworn in’ the ceremony made the event more personalized to the couple, as both became inseparable after meeting during orientation in Law School.
Aqua accessories nicely complimented the slate grey short dresses of the Bridesmaids with the added pop of bright lemon-yellow roses with beautiful green accents from the succulents in the bouquets. Hints of seersucker were also reflected in the centerpieces and napkins while “pops” of yellow were also detailed in the appropriately named cake “pops” and centerpieces. Meredith & Jeff simply wanted a truly unique and elegant yet fun event for guests to feel the love that they share for one another.
After the Ceremony, the Wedding Party participated in a faux ‘double-dutch’ demonstration to kick off the reception, while guests enjoyed their delectable meals in a family-style fashion. A unique three-tiered yellow cake was quite a sight to see accompanied by many delicious desserts to satisfy. The evening was sealed-off as the sun set and guests sipped Wally Water, the signature beverage of the family, while dancing under the stars and into the night. Congratulations Meredith & Jeff!
