An Alchemy Exclusive! Karen & James were some of the sweetest and probably the most easy-going couple we’ve met. Karen & James got married at The Hideout in Kirkwood, California and there were some challenges with mother nature. There was a short period of a rainstorm that made an unfortunate situation into one of the most beautiful memories for our bride. She was able to have a special moment with her parents and she was very grateful for that. The guests got to enjoy the cocktail hour before the ceremony and they thanked Kate Whelan Events for the rain (even though we all know we can’t control it). As you can see in the beautiful photographs, taken by Sarah Maren Photography, the rain had a gorgeous effect on the venue.

Karen and James were so amazing to work with. You can really see their wedding was unique and their personality as two individuals becoming one really stood out in this Hideout wedding. They really wanted their wedding to be a communal event and that’s exactly what it was. The guests were so fun,  filled with love and they definitely rocked the dance floor! With all the quick changes we had to make, we are very grateful for our team of fabulous vendors that were there to help with this beautiful weather change.
