Jaclyn and Rouzbeh met as residents at UC Davis and have been together ever since. Their proposal story is truly worth sharing because it’s so sweet and sentimental: Rouzbeh took Jaclyn on a vacation to Hawaii to finally meet his mom. After spending the entire week there, the couple took a stroll along the beach and Rouzbeh proposed! Little did Jaclyn know – Rouzbeh had already had the ring for 11 months, he just was waiting for her to meet his mother. How sweet is that?
When asked what they had in mind for their big day, Jaclyn and Rouzbeh stressed the fact that they wanted it to be fun, special, and personalized to their favorite things: art, food, and family! To ensure they would be surrounded by art, they chose the Crocker Art Museum for their venue and we couldn’t have picked a better choice for them. They were even given access to the rare Founder’s Gallery for their ceremony site. Through personalized décor choices to enhance the venue, gorgeous florals, and a vibrant yet elegant color palette, Team KWE went to work to ensure that Jaclyn and Rouzbeh’s wedding vision came to life!
Guests arrived at the museum and headed straight to the stunning Founder’s Gallery for the ceremony. Afterwards, everyone shifted into the Ballroom for the cocktail hour. Guests enjoyed delicious passed appetizers and the couple’s signature drinks: the “Something Blue” + tonic or a Davis Gentleman. Guests enjoyed a sumptuous family-style dinner with many delicious options. This was especially important, as Jaclyn and Rouzbeh are huge foodies!
From here, Jaclyn and Rouzbeh spent the remainder of their night surrounded by their closest family and friends, dancing the night away. Team KWE absolutely loved working with this outstanding couple and we were truly honored to be apart of their special day. We wish you all of the best in your marriage, Jaclyn and Rouzbeh. Congratulations!
