Devin and Trent met through mutual friends at a party and they clicked immediately.  Both residents of Sacramento for 10+ years, they love to enjoy all that Midtown has to offer. One of their favorite spots to relax outdoors is Capitol Park Rose Garden.  When he proposed, Trent took Devin on a picnic underneath “their” tree at the rose garden and popped the question over an afternoon picnic.  It’s only fitting that they chose to get married under the very same tree!

When asked how they wanted their wedding day to feel, Devin and Trent responded with relaxed and classy, and they were adamant that they day should be reflective of them. Through a stunning color palette of black, white, emerald green and warm metallics; two magnificent venue spaces; and gorgeous florals; Team KWE went to work to bring Devin and Trent’s wedding day dreams to life!

Guests arrived for the ceremony in the late afternoon and were greeted with acoustic guitar music.  After watching Devin and Trent exchange vows in a truly intimate ceremony, guests travelled to the reception.  At the cocktail hour, guests enjoyed beer, wine, and an appetizer display of chips, salsa and guacamole provided by Tres Hermanas (Devin and Trent’s favorite).

When Devin and Trent arrived, they were welcomed in to Billy Withers’ “Lovely Day” and were cheered on by their loved ones.  Guests sat at tables that were beautifully adorned with black and white striped runners, stunning botanical floral arrangements, and mixed metallic placesettings.  The reception space was softly lit by twinkle lights, which were strung around each pillar.  As a unique choice, Devin and Trent made a display table that showed their attendees “Where We Come From”, complete with pictures of grandparents and other loved ones. A favorite show of the couple, Planet Earth, was played on a projector during dinner. After dinner and toasts, Trent’s father played a slideshow for the couple and there wasn’t a dry eye in the entire room. From here, Devin and Trent spent the remainder of their evening surrounded by their family and friends, eating, drinking and dancing the night away!  We absolutely loved working with this amazing couple.  We wish you many years of love and happiness in your marriage.  Congratulations again, Devin and Trent!
