Amy and Shawn tied the knot at St. John’s Lutheran Church and celebrated with a beautiful reception at the Citizen Hotel. Sharing a love for country music, both the bride and the groom sported a pair of cowboy boots for their special day. For their ceremony, they had a fabulous bagpipe player provide the music. The couple labeled the reception tables with names of places they have traveled to, including a very special “Ella”, representing their location of their first date. To go along with the country theme, the couple’s rehearsal dinner was held at the El Dorado Saloon, where a Johnny Cash tribute band filled the atmosphere with a fun country vibe!
Amy and Shawn’s cocktail hour was lively and fun for everyone! They had family friends provide the music for this portion, playing their own instruments in the lobby lounge! With a choice of champagne or whiskey, the toasts were both sweet and funny, filled with amazing memories of the bride and groom. The slideshow that followed was extremely touching, causing tears of happiness to be shed by many. The night was filled with drinking, dancing, and laughing by everyone in attendance! We loved working with this sweet and down to Earth couple and we wish them many years of wonderful marriage in the future!
