Amber and Jay came to Team KWE with so much passion and love for one another. These two met in Sutter Memorial’s emergency room, but not for the reason you might think – Amber is a nurse and Jay is a firefighter. Both lovers of ice cream, Amber and Jay spent their first date, proposal, and wedding sharing a dish of their favorite dessert.
When asked how they wanted their wedding day to feel, Amber and Jay responded with extraordinary, fun and memorable. Amber stressed the fact that she didn’t want a “rustic chalkboard wedding” and she wanted to include deep reds, dark grey, and ivory for the color palette. Through unique design choices, gorgeous florals, and personalized decor, Team KWE helped bring Amber and Jay’s wedding vision to life!
Amber and Jay had an outdoor ceremony that was truly unique. The chairs were set up in a spiral formation. At the altar was a replication gate of Paris’ Pont des Arts love lock bridge and was later repurposed as a guestbook, with custom locks for guests to sign. At the end of the evening, Amber and Jay made their grand exit, complete with sparklers, and drove away in a fire truck. We loved their special exit and we were truly honored to work with them on their big day. Congratulations on your marriage Amber and Jay – we wish you many years of love and happiness!
