Sierra and Matt truly have a beautiful love connection.  These two met in high school through a mutual friend and have been inseparable ever since.  After being together for seven years, Matt proposed on St. Patrick’s day by putting a bunny with a ring in Sierra’s room.  When she found the bunny, she also found him on one knee asking for her hand in marriage.  What a romantic moment!

For this couple, it was truly important to them that their family had an amazing time with them on their special day.  When asked what they wanted their wedding to feel like, Sierra and Matt emphasized that they wanted a rustic elegance to shine through using a color palette of rust, copper, and aqua.  Their ideal day would consist of an elegant outdoor ceremony followed by dinner and a fun reception.  The DoubleTree Sacramento provided the perfect venue for this.  Through gorgeous hanging florals and lighting, stunning tablescapes, and personal décor touches, Team KWE worked hard to ensure that Sierra and Matt’s wedding vision came to life.

As guests arrived at the venue, they were greeted with a truly beautiful scene.  Hanging lights created a soft atmosphere for an outdoor ceremony.  The aisle was lined with charming floral arrangements in aqua mason jars.  At the center of it all stood an exquisite arch with all of the necessities for a traditional but unique sand ceremony.  Attendees took their seats and enjoyed watching Sierra and Matt exchange vows and make the transition from engaged to married.  Afterwards, guests made their way into the reception space for passed appetizers and drinks during the cocktail hour.  The party really kicked off then!

For the wedding party introduction, bridesmaids and groomsmen danced their way in to LMFAO’s popular “Party Rock Anthem.” From here, Sierra and Matt and their guests relished in a delicious plated dinner.  Everyone finished off the night eating tasty desserts and getting down on the dance floor.  Team KWE was honored to work with this special couple.  We thank you both for giving us this opportunity to be with you on your special day and we wish you all of the best in your marriage.  Congratulations, Sierra and Matt!
