Stephanie & Eric were married at the gorgeous Cornerstone in Sonoma on October 10, 2013. It also happened to be their dating anniversary, so it was beyond ideal for them to be married on this day! Stephanie and Eric hosted a wonderful wedding weekend for their 42 guests traveling from the Chicago area. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful – with it’s stunning backdrop of autumnal grapevines.  The guests sat in a half circle around the bride and groom as they listened to the beautiful Skyline duo play their chosen ceremony music. The ceremony altar was defined by two modern metal columns topped with beautiful gray, white and yellow floral arrangements as the bride and groom stood in the middle of a ring of white petals.

As the ceremony ended, we guided the guests to the cocktail hour on the Barn patio. Guests enjoyed cocktails, local wines and a firepit while hors d’oeuvres circulated the space. Once the Bride and Groom had snuck in to join their guests and had a few sips and bites, we guided the party to the Dinner Tables on the other side of the Barn via a seating chart enscribed on a vintage window pane. Guests sat at beautiful reclaimed wood tables on vintage metal chairs under twinkling market lights and enjoyed a delicious dinner, provided by Elaine Bell Catering. As the multi-coursed meal continued, toasts were held against the sunset sky, highlighting the beautiful yellow, grey and white blooms and chalkboard place cards. Once the toasts were shared, we revealed a surprise by drawing the Barn doors open – a fun after dinner band, dancing and dessert. Everyone immediately joined the dance floor and the Brian Cline Band kept the party going all night long! An impromptu stage visit from the Bride’s Uncle revealed that he played the harmonica – he joined the band to play a Johnny Cash song while the guests cheered him on. It was a special moment indeed!
