Real Wedding: Jessika and Martin

Jessika and Martin are quite the duo, and Team KWE loved working with them!  These two met in 2011 in a yoga class and have been inseparable ever since.  Whether it’s being outdoors exploring nature or indoors watching movies on a lazy Sunday afternoon, Jessika and Martin truly love being together.

For their wedding day, it was important for both of them that their milestone event felt traditional yet quirky and showcased a vibrant and festive atmosphere.  To achieve this, we helped them find the beautiful Sacramento Grand Ballroom as their venue.  With dramatic indoor and outdoor spaces, we could help Jessika and Martin create the atmosphere they truly wanted. Through a stunning color palette of eggplant, snow, and aluminum; vibrant uplighting throughout the reception space; and gorgeous floral arrangements; Team KWE went to work to make this vision a wedding day reality!

Guests arrived and made their way to the rooftop terrace for a spectacular outdoor ceremony.  Floating candles in tall vases with lush florals lined the aisle and fountain, accenting the venue’s natural beauty.  A backdrop was made with plum textured linens and a vintage chandler was hung from the existing terrace, creating an elegant and unique ceremony space.  After watching Jessika and Martin exchange vows and become one, guests moved to the ballroom for the cocktail hour.

At the cocktail hour, guests were greeted with delicious cocktails and tasty passed appetizers – one our favorite restaurants, Hawks, catered the event, creating a seamless menu despite significant food allergies.  Jessika and Martin chose to include a fun prosecco station for their attendees to enjoy, a personal touch that Team KWE loved.   From here, everyone moved into the reception for dinner and dancing.  Guests were treated to a scrumptious plated dinner with tableside wine service.  Jessika and Martin’s first dance was to Adele’s “Love Song” and it was truly a romantic moment shared by everyone.  Team KWE loved working with this wonderful couple and we wish them many years of love and happiness in their marriage.  Congratulations, Jessika and Martin!
