Real Wedding: Sarah and Read

Sarah and Read had known each other for a long time before they began dating.  The two found themselves drawn together when Read moved to San Francisco.  The love between Sarah and Read is magnetic and can be felt by anyone around them.

Team KWE really enjoyed working with this amazing couple. When asked how they envisioned their special day, Sarah and Read emphasized that despite their high guest count, they still wanted the day to feel comfortable and intimate.  As they are both outdoorsy people, it was only natural that they wanted their ceremony and reception to be outdoors.  Stony Hill Vineyard, Sarah’s family winery, proved to be the perfect venue for this, offering ample space and gorgeous views.  Sarah and Read wanted their special day to be heartfelt for everyone involved.  Through gorgeous florals adorning tables, family style  platters of delicious food and spacious venue locations, the newlyweds and their guests enjoyed this magnificent August day.

Guests arrived at the historic winery building, welcomed by chilled beverages, in preparation for the ceremony.  At the altar, a vintage family-owned dresser sat on display with beautiful floral arrangements tucked into drawers and atop the dresser.  Attendees watched as Sarah and Read exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony.

After the ceremony, everyone traveled through the gardens to the cocktail hour where people could enjoy drinks from the bar, scrumptious passed appetizers and a fresh oyster display.  Afterwards, guests found their seats for the reception in the front yard to begin a delectable dinner service. Guest tables were simple yet elegant with chalkboard table numbers, amazing textural floral centerpieces, with pops of lavender and coral throughout the linens. Hand pies were displayed for dessert – and guests had the opportunity to chisel chunks of chocolate, as a surprise sweet treat. Sarah and Read spent the remainder of their special day surrounded by their closest family and friends.  We couldn’t have been more overjoyed to work with this loving couple and we wish them all the happiness in your marriage. Congratulations, Sarah and Read!
