Real Wedding: Leah and Alan

Leah and Alan were truly a joy to work with!  Alan moved to California from Ohio and met Leah at a local Cross-fit gym here in Sacramento.  These two love to be outdoors spending time together with their puppy, Jax.  We especially loved their intimate proposal story: Leah joined Alan back home for the holidays in Ohio. They shared a special Christmas holiday together, in which he took her to his college.  After hopping the fence, Leah turned around to find Alan on one knee with a gorgeous ring!

For their wedding day, Leah and Alan stressed the fact that they wanted it to feel like a huge dinner party for their family and friends.  They wanted the celebration to feel clean, classic, intimate and simple.  They chose Trione Vineyards, a beautiful family winery in Geyserville.  Through a warm color palette of blush, gold, and navy, elegant floral arrangements, and minimal decor in the rustic winery, Team KWE helped bring Leah and Alan’s wedding vision to life.

At the end of August,  the weather conditions were perfect for an outdoor ceremony.  Sunny and warm, guests enjoyed witnessing Leah and Alan commit their love for one another and exchange vows.  After the ceremony, guests moved to the cocktail hour for drinks, passed appetizers and socializing.  Team KWE especially loved the personalized yard games that Leah and Alan had created for guests to enjoy.  From here, attendees moved to the reception space.  The tablescapes were absolutely remarkable: they were adorned with either blush sequin linens, white linens, or blush chevron runners and topped with elegant floral centerpieces and wine bottle table numbers. Leah and Alan spent the remainder of their evening surrounded by their closest family and friends, celebrating their love.  Guests enjoyed tasty desserts including cupcakes the couple had named themselves – so fun! We loved working with Leah and Alan and we wish them both many years of love and happiness in their marriage.  Congratulations to you both!
