Lia and Alex were married at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Sacramento. Guests then traveled to the Crocker Art Museum and cocktailed in the Old Ballroom, enjoying passed hors d’oeuvres from Mulvaney Building & Loan. After the Cocktail Hour, guests traveled to the New Courtyard where they found their escort card displayed on a giant easel. Tables were swathed in various silver linen textures – from crinkle taffeta to silver sequin. Each table had an array of white ceramic Greek crosses, Tuscan columns and artichokes and white acrylic papel picado table numbers to pay homage to the couple’s heritage. Market lights criss-crossed overhead suspended by white draped columns and custom lighting accented the Old Crocker Building’s unique architecture. Guests then moved inside to the live band for dancing and a gorgeous dessert display.
